I don't have a partner, can I join a dance class?

You don’t need to come with a partner to take any class or lesson. If you have a partner, bring one. People often come by themselves and find partners here, sometimes with the assistance from the instructor. You don’t need a partner all through the class either. We teach steps separate to ladies and men and we make sure one knows her/his steps well before joining in with the partner. Dancing with different partners helps you to dance better. Don’t be afraid to ask more experienced students to dance with. They are very willing to help and encourage beginner dancers. We will rotate partners regularly during class as well. This way you will have plenty of opportunity to meet new friends and it’s the best way to improve your dance skills. And if you are thinking to take private lessons – your instructor will be your partner. Even better!
